Sara Dagher joined the firm in 2024. She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. In 2022, she received her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she was an Eminent Scholar.
In law school, Sara was a Peggy Browning Fellow. During her Fellowship, she worked at a Philadelphia legal aid where she expunged clients’ criminal records to expand their work opportunities. She worked at civil rights nonprofits including the Center for Constitutional Rights and Palestine Legal, where she researched the right to boycott, tracked repressive anti-boycott legislation, and supported civil rights litigation.
Sara practices employment litigation, representing clients subject to workplace discrimination, and labor law, filing unfair labor practice charges primarily on behalf of teachers’ unions. She also regularly advises, consults, and negotiates employment agreements for physicians.
In her pro bono practice, Sara represents students, professors, and employees subject to repression or retaliation for their political speech. She represents students and professors in university disciplinary hearings and civil rights lawsuits against their institutions. She is a member of the National Lawyers Guild’s Detroit and Michigan chapter.
Sara is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
